He further added, “At QIC Group, we have always ensured that the core values of our business and operating principles align with our objectives for CSR. Mr. Al-Mohannadi, Member of the Board of Trustees at the Al-Attiyah Foundation concluded: ‘’We are extremely delighted that QIC Group is renewing their Platinum Membership for the third year. As a market leader in the insurance industry, their contribution to the Foundation is very well valued.”

Through this distinctive collaboration, QIC Group renews its commitment to seek solutions for achieving sustainability.

Today, CSR is considered an integral pillar for any organization wishing to achieve sustainable development; not only within the business itself, but also within the society it operates in. In fact, QIC Group firmly believes that engaging with the society through various CSR initiatives is a two-way process delivering business and societal benefits by creating strong relationships and helping to build trust. Partnering with the Al-Attiyah Foundation for the third consecutive year, QIC Group will continue the company’s dedication to its CSR initiatives to fulfil its goals for achieving sustainability.

The Al-Attiyah Foundation is the only independent Energy and Sustainable Development think tank in Qatar and has, over the last five years, become highly respected by energy leaders both internationally and in Qatar.

Building upon HE Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah’s work and forty years of service in the energy industry, the Foundation has quickly become a hub for thought leadership in the fields of Energy and Sustainable Development. In addition to a variety of publications issued throughout the year, the Foundation engages world-renowned speakers to participate in a high-level dialogue series, conferences and panel discussions, a number of which are hosted in Qatar.

Driven to support the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the global oil and gas industry, the Al-Attiyah Foundation firmly embraces its ongoing responsibility to deliver on its mission: to provide robust and practical knowledge and insights, on global energy and sustainable development topics, to the Foundation’s Members and community.
